Rick, this is an absolutely beautiful poem. It touched me with fresh poetic air and left me glad. I think your keyboard may have screwed up the 2nd line, bit was typed instead of 'bid', I'm guessing. Truly - a FAV, and a 7 from me. Love it ... CayCay
