Sullen Moon

Gail Doyle Contest Name A Tropical Theme Under The Moonlight A sullen Moon excludes the gloom, The red sun slowly drops, From ship to shore, I’ve swam miles an more, She’s sinking on the rocks, Nothing to eat, the sun aint sweet, My thirst is burning till, A coconut, comes a rolling down, Perhaps I’ll drink, I will? The rock does crack, I just went wack, To drink and eat my fill, No others lived, voiced we forgive, Alone at last, until? Don Johnson 13/03/2012

Ha ha, ah this write is very cleverly written Don! I just love the line, "Alone at last, until?" that just extends your poem beyond what is confined within your write, magnificently done I must say! I really enjoyed your descriptions of the sun and it's setting into the rocks, excellent! I love your write that you have written! Great Work!!
