Suffering and Misery Have Gone
Suffering and Misery Have Gone
I do not follow rules and am uncouth
Comply wit rebellious ways of my youth
And things am clearly starting to see
Without God there never will be a me.
Inside me is a life needing to come alive
Then survive and eventually to revive
Itself so that God can start to serve
On straight and narrow path and not swerve.
More anxious each day God want to meet
And show me how life can seem so sweet
While I will exist in my true God's grace
As many mysteries of life helps me to face.
In this new morning I am now wide awake
Great God is in each breath that I take
Out into life again shall surely proceed on
All my much suffering and misery are gone.
