The trees were thick, their needles sharp As I stubbornly fought my way. So heavenly, I heard a harp The scene in the clearing that day. Jagged peaks in lake reflected, Astounding because unexpected. For John's contest "A Nature Verse"

this makes me feel sorry for the inner city children who may never a mountian or a lake. just miles of city that surrounds them on every side. john
