Such a Mysterious Thing

Love is such a mysterious thing In vain we try to make sense A mixture of overpowering emotions Of passion, feelings so intense Poets forever have tried to describe it This joy, this absolute bliss Expressions of an everlasting devotion Accompanying each tender kiss Without a doubt a passion unequaled In the annals of all human kind As deep as the deepest blue ocean Love so intense it can blind Few escape its overwhelming power Down to the mightiest of men They all succumb to its magical force An overpowering force without end Love is such a mysterious thing In vain we try to make sense It's a mixture of many deep emotions Feelings so passionate, so intense Love is such a mysterious thing... © Jack Ellison 2013

'Love is a many splintered thing." LOL... Couldn't resist that one... Everyone writes tremendously about love but when I do... I just yawn. It doesn't work for me to get serious... I'm too dark or too boring... My Trolls seem to lead me to higher ground. When I become serious they just throw me up upon their shoulders... Where I can take off.... Would be great if I wasn't afraid of heights... LOL

"Love is a many splintered thing" ah by one of my favourite groups from way back then... Al Albert and The Four Aces! You are so fortunate to have those Trolls. Do the invade other people's homes? What is the Troll population the world today? All these questions... huggggs! xox

Love IS a mystery, why do we love, and where does it come from? If you are religious you would go along with me and say that God gave us the ability to love, and made the mystery behind it so we would never fully grasp the whole meaning of it...but sure come close though! This is an immensely wondrous write my friend! I truly loved reading it this morning! What a powerful piece, one that I enjoyed a lot, Great Work!!
