Oh yum, I do love this poem because I can smell and taste the pie just reading it! I especially like the "simmering jack o'lantern" line. What a delicious Epulaeryu!

Another scumptuous poem, Joseph!:) I love pumpkin pie, though I have stopped trying to make them. Yeah, they were delicious, however, no matter how hard I tried they would end up looking like "Jack-O-Lantern"s. They'd puff up high in the middle..the kids found them funny.:( Nonetheless, they enjoyed every bite.:) I'm happy you liked "August Rush"..I cried at the end, only because I had found it so touching.:) Wishing you and yours the best, Joseph..God bless you! Mikki

Requiem for a jack o' lantern, eh. Good write, Joseph. "Ping" is about Christmas, but is wide open to interpretation. Thanks for reading. Love, daver
