Stuck This Time

"No, no, no, they've left me here, haven't they?! No, surely, they'll see that something's amiss; Surely they'll save me, and I'll see the day And feel the warmth of the Sun's golden kiss. Yes, indeed, yes, there is nothing to fear For they care for me; yes, I am their friend — But what if indeed, they have left me here?! What if all that kindness was just pretend?! What if — what if this is how I will die?! Alone, paranoid in the strangling black; Too afraid to even attempt to cry; Abandoned, forgotten, stabbed in the back —!"
Her words then stopped, and her heaving breath She was stuck again, but this time in death.
