“The only way to get rid of a temptation is to yield to it” ~ Machiavellian counsel by Oscar Wilde ______________________ Struggling with temptation, creates a dilemma requiring our free will, to discern and so choose, nectar or ego swill. Struggling with temptation, in truth’s a no brainer, either which ways we win, if free from addiction, renouncing ways of sin. Struggling with temptation, keeping our heart carefree, go not with base instinct but pause a while to think: is our intent love inked? Struggling with temptation, reflect this oh hermit; why did the urge arise, although we now do know, that soul lives, body dies? 21-July-2022

Close to the edge here Seeker, as indeed is temptation, yes I give into it sometimes, but also refuse at other times, I wonder though is it an actual force, or just part of the human condition, I enjoyed your pondering on this one, Great quote as well, cheers David

It’s not occasional indulgence that’s the problem but rather, addition, stagnation, which anchors us to a mind-body desire or fear.
