Strings of Time
Surrounded by Forces
Beyond my control
My thoughts, my beliefs
Rode me like a horse
To a realm of discomfort.
Every breath drew me closer
To the thing I feared the most,
I was left feeling incomplete,
Very confused and surely lost.
I’m a prisoner to the strings of time
The thread of my fate had been woven
I stood watching like a mime!
With a heavy heart and eyes
Filled with fear, pain, and anguish.
As I sat there slowly running out of time,
I realized it was no one’s fault but mine.
I never chose!
I was born,
This is who I am.
But then again, what could I have done?
