String of Three Tanka Poetry

fire, flying, imagery, life, love, moon, sun, Not I said she to me Would I said she of me be A moth drawn to light No heat of fool’s gold necklaces Would make a warming breath singe! My strong wings will soar Covering proper distances to sleep Where true bright light points Real life’s fortunes will fulfill My day and night time longings! I have love to share And will make that gift hold true When coupled to take flight Down inroads and out rides far Wedded wing to wing bred on tour!
