Stranger Before Me

Stranger my love before my eyes become..... Fond memories recollected, A love  so, so, so, strong, Never could either heart without the other belong. Succumb to the ghost I feared, Nothing, Not a blink from an eye, Or tear be shed. Sadness unlike no other, My heart to pieces, In a second, He did shred. Unfelt embrace, Afraid to even look at your beautiful face. Don't want you to see, Let me make believe... Acting out feign happiness, A masterpro! Pretending presence pretense Aaaah the suspense, Play the role to the T, Losing my emotional sense Starting to believe myself easily. Keep on playing, How much longer? I ponder. He loved the way I smelled.... That much of remember. Questioning a possible wonder, Did I get through all of his lightening and all of his thunder? Shaken up as much as me, Had to be the better person, Dammit! Why me? Should've known better, Figured this out before. Get anywhere close to him, My mind shuts down past the floor, My heart speeds on 6th gear, Future insecurities strolling in, With trepidation and with fear. Who are you stranger? Been developing for some time now. Showing yourself, Now and then. Does it feel great to finally be out of your playpen? Stranger, stranger, stranger Please get lost! Don't want your kinda damn staining. See, Even you, my love, Can't see me feigning. ..

@ Rex, I believe that there still could be soulmates. Just because they are your soulmate, it doesn't mean you both will end up being together. Your opinion is really valuable to me. I appreciate you.
