Thunder roars and lightning blazes across the sky And it illuminates the eye of a man as he holds his wife’s hand The rain plummets to earth and pummels a rooftop Of a family home as the children laugh and play The sky darkens a deep black and gray While a couple lights candles for a romantic evening And as the wild winds whirl faster The end of the storm is near As it goes more joy will come As each walks outside to a starlight sky And a peaceful moon rising high
