The shrewd gulls fretted and flew, veered inland to avoid the storm. Some strutted over spiky rocks, others flew low over the sea, occasionally swooping into the cold rough sea below, foraging for tasty salty fish. But when the storm was over, they just flew up and ventured to blustery pastures new.

The moral behind the story is we must also move on after the storms to better pastures, not literally of course, but to a new mindset. A lovely poem dear Victor. my friend. I hope you are ok. Hugs

This is how life also is. There will be occasional storms. When the storm is over, like the seagulls, we also fly to pastures new. A lovely poem, dear Victor!

lovely imagery in your poem, Victor. Whenever I visit a beach, the seagulls mesmerize me...even their squawking! --Perhaps because I've never leaved near a beach or the ocean. You captured the seagulls perfectly. have a great evening, Sara

A beautiful poem adorned with exquisite imagery, portraying an unmistakably astute avian companion. The mellifluous symphony of their vibrant squawks near the vast expanse of the majestic ocean is a melody I yearn to revel in.

Each living creature on earth has its own lifestyle, its acute instinctive sense of keeping alive, but sometimes unfortunately that is not enough. However for theses seagulls all is well that ends well, like he passing of this storm. Hugs and blessings, JENNIFER,

Dear Victor, I could almost feel the wind whipping through my hair and hear the cries of the gulls as they navigated the tempest. But what truly resonated with me was the poem's message of resilience. Even though the gulls are clearly affected by the storm, they ultimately "venture to blustery pastures new" once it passes. It serves to show that challenges, while inevitable, are not permanent. We can weather the storms and emerge stronger, ready to explore new horizons. Motivational. -Daniel

Aren't they beautiful and are so interesting. I don't live where I can see them very often, but when we do go to the coast I get to enjoy their beauty. Great poem to go along with the picture. Sara K
