Stop

Can you stop the wind from blowing Can you stop the wise from knowing Can you stop the sky from being blue Can you stop me from loving you I thought I was finally over you I thought I was good as new But yesterday you came my way You stopped and asked if I were okay Funny when you said hello My heart stopped, I just can't let you go I smiled and said I'm doing fine And that for you time had been kind Can you stop the rain from falling Can you stop memories from calling Can you stop the world for just a day Can you stop my heart from running away Familiar places filled with traces of us Teardrops from falling I can't trust Why do I love you, why can't I stop Why do I love you, why can't I stop Can you stop the sun from shinning Can you stop the stars from pining Can you stop the moon from being new Can you stop me, please stop me from loving you
