Stones On the Beach
Looking out upon the beach
sun's shining skies so blue
the heat's burning on my back
feels red hot even on my shoe
There scattered amongst the sand
stones all abound down to sea
they are of every shape and size
lying next to each other totally free
Now this shows picture of mankind
created by God every shape and size
difference is they are not at all free
being held in sin unable to rise
Many stones broken with sharp edge
roar of waves has tossed them about
leaving them alone again so still
if they're in pain they can't shout
But a heavenly father they don't have
who cares and loves them so very much
this is what differs stone and man
God blesses us with His heavenly touch
(some thought while sitting on beach of stones lying there seeing a picture of them as mankind.)
