Stones
A tear is like a crystal that falls to the ground
Millions of pieces that can never be found.
A heart is like a diamond its beauty shone
And it took a long time to become harder then stone
Love is like a ruby precious and with imperfections
But worthless when cut into sections
The will is like granite solid as can be
But worn away by a ceaseless sea
And I
Am like a wall building higher and higher
Steel that has been smelt in a consuming fire
Protecting whats left before I lose all
Patching up the breach that’s been ripped in my wall
Burying them deep where they’ll never been found
Where they cant be torn back out of the ground
Where they cant be put on display on a shelf to linger
Or worn like a list on the end of a finger
