Stole the Night

capture the night a cradle of rest breached only by your crescent moon raped the day spreads its light the robber never caught in the middle of her seasons please my mood , entice my appetite for your honey , nectar of life pale and darkened by fever of a plague in the san dimas epidemic parked left to my own understanding i forgot to take the dog out filled hurting and constipated thought she was just nervous explosion don't leave me in my time for the existence if me is drawn dug in deep this lush soil of night and of day , no dismay dead ,rest for your silence stole the night celebrate the quiet in you flying in the cool breeze high above the air , cold left the nightmares and song for they went looking for you are they going to capture you steal your innocents and dreams all alone now except for your memories , feathers fill the room in your death we will live what is left of this life without you a shadow of doubt a shadow of a shadow a figure in the night left all alone and a stare a glare we need to feel the heartbeat of life so you cried from the heavens washed time from our faces screaming thunder from the silence now we close our eyes forever nothing remains the same again because your silence stole the night
