Stillness

It's the stillness in the night, That takes my breath away. A single touch and body's quivering. A single whisper against my flesh, Sends me shooting to the moon. The ecstacy that you give me, Is the sweetest drug, Taking the pain away A numbness to the world around me. Destiny portrayed me as a sinner, I'll be the sweetest sin resting in your arms. No one can compare to the joy, That I have found inside your eyes. Go ahead and chase my shadows away, I'll say I love you in my mind. Agony is slowly fleeing when you are in my skies Shine your decadence this way, I'll show you my soul, Wrapped in the pretty little ribbons, Made of a ripped out heart. Create a subterfuge, That my meek body can rest in. It's crazy the depths of feeling, That your two hands against my body create. Silence was never meant for me, I'll scream into the hollow night, Just to see your eyes. Forever blind to anything around me, As long as you are against me. Hovering softly over my body, Is the bubble of hope that I cling to. Inside of me is where you belong. Just hold me tight and never let me go, For I'll die in the troubled waters, That my evil has created. I give my all to you.
