Still If I Could Wish For One Thing
When your life begins, filled with love and pain,
Stumbling with all the struggles of youth
Foolish mistakes made time and time again
Searching in the wrong places for the truth.
As an adult, new careers come and go
Earn enough money so you can survive
The years race by as you move to and fro
Struggling to keep all your goals alive.
Then in time, comes the wisdom of old age
When you look back you finally realize
All these things brought you to this final stage
Where happiness was the ultimate prize.
Still, if I could wish for one thing, I’d say
I’ll not change a thing, not one single day.
