Still Haunting
The songs that make me miss her
And the sights reminding
Play through my head in repeating harmony
Almost in a haunting tone they come
To again tell me she's not near
I'd flex my write and will
To hear her, see her once more
Before it's over in blood and gore
The vulgar and tasteless movements rhyme
As they follow hand in hand behind me
I have finally found true love
But the past still mocks me for ignorance
I thought it was over
But never have I had to resist so much
To stop the abuse and violence
I thought it was over
I was wrong
