Still Cloudy
I long to be petty, a giggle a squeal,
I cant be this person, this sadness I feel.
I'm fighting against the black clouds that confine,
perhaps holding out for a signal or sign.
There's sun and there's warmth, there's the hope now it's spring,
I still can't reach out from this chasm I'm in.
A glimmer is there once a day now perhaps,
I know I'm just waiting for time to elapse.
The children run round, I so long to join in,
But all I can here is the noise and the din.
This grief, it's a journey no one can assist,
I'll fight my way out of this black colored mist.
