Delice, I do enjoy hearing the doves' cooing in the morning and at night. They are a delight to hear but you might have some other species that is just as delightful. Your visits always are a highlight ...Sara

Eve, It was down in the twenties the other morning and I was sitting inside the house and heard the ground doves cooing. I think that they probably are already nesting, but I don't see how. Thanks for the kind reviews of my work. Sara

Kim, Yes, the birdbath as seen from my kitchen window, but we had to cut the tree down because it was dying and a threat to our home; so, I don't put the birdfeeders out there like I did. The birds would come all winter then in the spring the tree would come alive with birds seeking food from the feeders. I need to make some other arrangements about feeding them. Thanks for your nice visit. Sara

I feel so sorry for my little feathered friends in the winter. I go out and break the ice and fill the birdbath every time a above freezing day blesses us. Nice imagery and picture to match your Haiku, Sara. May your day be filled with a joyful heart, today, Bill

Bill, I will go out with hot water and try to at least offer them a few sips of water. I figure some hot water will help it to stay thawed until the sun melts it. Around here most of the time by 11 or 12 it thaws on out. Your visits to my page a captivating. Sara

Hello my dear friend what a lovely freezing, bitterly cold yet magical write. Thank you for visiting me and commenting it means a lot to me. Our business is hectic at the moment and that must have priority but if I had the Choice I would write poetry 24/7. Hugs and blessings Jennifer.

Jennifer, Do a little when you can. Try to write a little something every day but the day will come if it is meant to be for that everyday writing. Your presence enlightens me. Sara
