Its amazing just how much Time can change and really touch Your life turning it around Changing shaky un-solid ground Of a path you were taking That was crumbling and breaking With cracks and holes of bad fear Following you everywhere Each step more highly dangerous Tiptoeing, being very cautious That the next one wont explode Bearing a bad heavy load With little pieces of your past Into a future that will grasp Each one with a mighty vengeance Destroying any hope or chance Your steps will not lead into More nightmares you cant get through You close your eyes and move ahead Wait for badness, but instead A hand takes yours tenderly Gently saying you are free No more times of pain or sorrow I'll make sure that each tomorrow And step your taking from here on Will slowly make the past be gone Bad dreams will soon disappear Your futures looking very clear Believe me, accept my help Because I've been there myself
