Stay Hopeful

Hello there, buddy. This is a poem for you. Don't mind that it's a bit raw, for in this I'm still quite new. Me and my best friend wanted to make you feel good, So here you go, as that friend would say, "my dude". I may not know you much, but that matters not. As far as I heard 'bout you, you're no rot. In fact, you're a good guy, and though the times we spoke are very few, We may become great friends too someday. Depends on you! I heard you're a caring person, and I want you to know: There are people that care about you too, and that care isn't low. It may be hard to be optimistic at times, true, But believe me, I know that you will still get through. Sure, I've never been one for optimists myself, But hey, nearly all my life's been a sad book on a shelf! I forbid you to think like me. Just stay hopeful and smile! That'll get all of the problems away, mile by mile.
