Start of the Class

Started my first day with grimace I wore it on my pale face But I knew this secret so well Though it was so hard tell Right where I saw those young eyes Gullible gossips were so nice But I stood with sincerity in my feet Saw myself thinking on my seat Like playing an old game at day There are more stories that we have to say But your heart is in moment of silence Writing our words in a sentence About to find ourselves tomorrow We will not build fear and sorrow Just listen and get along in my dance Let us see how fate give us this chance

You put a lot of thought into this. It seems a poem of hope which is what your country needs. My wife is from the Philippines. We have been married 27 years. Good luck from David in NZ and keep writing. Read my posted poems if you are not busy.
