Stars Are a Dime a Dozen

Roses are so overdone The weeping willow is no fun The sky is too blue The moon is so new Stars are a dime a dozen When love passes you by Each step begins with a sigh And you just want to cry And crawl in bed and hide Stars are a dime a dozen Heaven so full of twinkles Heaven those stars sprinkle Wishes and desires With bright they flame the fires Stars, stars, grant me my love Stars, stars, in Heaven above If my wish is sincere Let me hold her so dear The sun is too yellow Flowers have mellowed Leaves on the trees have browned Like my heart, fallen to the ground Stars are a dime a dozen Wishes that never come true No matter whatever you do A zillion wishes for a zillion stars Mine skips Venus lands on Mars Stars are...no more wishes ...not worth a dime a dozen
