Stardust
We are stardust
fallen from the skies.
The very tears shed by God
who knew well our weaknesses
but let us be, despite them.
We are blessings
created in the immense-ness
of time, of the universe
by the creator
who saw all that was and would be
yet let it be in spite of itself.
We are bodies and substance
that pass away in a moment
Living a brief interlude in time and space
to search and find our way
back home
to our maker,
the Grand Creator.
