Standing For a Goal

Working towards a goal no one else can see. Believing in something no one else would believe in but me. To stand up for yourself, your cause. Hearing only your own self, giving you applause. It doesn't matter what it is you stand for. Fight for it, no matter in times of peace or war. In your heart, you know it is the right move. It is only to yourself, that you have anything to prove. You control your own destiny if you can believe. Wearing the pain as pride on your sleeve. Whatever your purpose is, take it off the shelf. If for no reason, do it for no one, only yourself. You can be the person you always desired. Look inside, you are the one you always admired. Remember if you don't stand for something, you will fall for anything and nothing.
