Stand Up Class

When it is all over Or when it has just begun It doesn’t matter What all you have done, Even the generosity The gifts you have given In their eyes they’ll ask “You need a ribbon?” They will seem like your friends Look you straight in the eye And out of respect Tell you a complete lie Don’t get upset It happens to everyone You may even be a victim That of your son But always remember As you breathe in and out Worse it could get Absolutely no doubt Always there will be Men, who abuse All your trust After that it is you they accuse Yet some may be Ones who’s friendship not bought Trust you may For against you they not plot Just keep a watchful eye For there are snakes in the grass But there always are the ones In that stand up class
