Sprinkle Grace Upon My Wings

There is strength within you So, why are you so scared of the dark? There is strength within you But, you must stay resilient…don’t show your fear For, they feed on it like blood entering in the nostrils of a shark, Trying to devour you as if you’re its next victim… They want you to be their next meal! Don’t make any deal with them, for they steal! (**Chorus** I wouldn’t mind letting you know How much I beg for your mercy to sprinkle grace upon my wings day in and day out I will not let you down again like I did before I didn’t give in to temptation today - that’s something to be proud of me for! I chose a different route and I accepted your corrections with an open heart and an open mind I was once blind, but now I see I was once faithless, but now I have faith I was once hopeless, but now I have hope I was once bleak, but now I’m joyful I used to wear a frown like a rejected clown, But now I won’t let discouragement bring me down) Be not afraid, dear child – Just turn the wheel, though the winds blow wild The oceans are churning under our feet, During this arduous adventure, you made me feel complete You’re so neat and oh so sweet! I bet you can unchain yourself from these chains This apprehension reigns over us, but I will repeat – Be not afraid – you’re as majestic and golden like fields of wheat (**Chorus** I wouldn’t mind letting you know How much I beg for your mercy to sprinkle grace upon my wings day in and day out I will not let you down again like I did before I didn’t give in to temptation today - that’s something to be proud of me for! You can’t label me as a worthless writer, Penning empty words…that smell of a dirty sock! You’re just another brick in the wall, you filthy backbiter! Yeah, I’m typing about you, writer’s block! You don’t rock… All you really do is mock
