Springtime In the Snow

Springtime in the Snow You sent this melody this magical river that ripples endlessly on the keys of my heart; spellbound and lost in time drifting through the air on the open sea with you I sail. Your song is all aglow suspended soft and bright a moment of delight springtime in the snow embracing in its wake fireflies that wake and fill up my nights with flashing lights. The moon the sun in harmony dancing gently a golden silver thread spin in my head and suddenly a universe in me immersed unfolds its chords and in my heart soars. (At 1:30 in the music the melody and the lyrics start over) I set these lines to Yiruma's melody "Kiss the Rain". Please, click the YouTube video above and enjoy :)

I came back to read this again, Still as fresh as the first time. I used to listen to a radio station called Smooth Jazz, that had this kind of music. Keeny G. They canceled it. Said not enough people listen. Going to favs if I didn't the first time :)

Jan, I am so happy you liked it but my lyrics are actually set to Yiruma's incredible piano piece I posted: "kiss the rain". Without Yiruma's music, this poem would be nonexistent. He is my inspiration :)

Anne-Marie, springtime in the snow can compete with poems of famous classical poets like Tennyson, TS Elliot, Pope, Milton, Blake etc. Have you ever won an award or a pullitzer prize? You are competent enough to do so.

Be careful, Yiruma is addictive. I almost made my daughter crazy playing his songs over and over again. My excuse was, of course, that I was working on the lyrics:)
