Spring Snow (Revised)

It's supposed to be Spring, Though snow's on everything Winter weather's no longer a charmer, But Easter Sunday should be warmer My budding flowers may soon die, Because the temperature is not high Global warming must be the reason, For snowfall in the wrong season

Ease with your rhyme scheme that reads well. Often seen in famous poetry, and here too. Environment and nature always a good theme. ThaNKS. Jan

Hi Janice what a shame when all the flowers arrive thinking its here then the cold snap comes back. Hope some flowers survive. God Bless. Leon

Love this poem, Janice. I can sense your angst as you watch the long-awaited flowers struggling to survive in an unseasonably cold spring. Rather than global warming, however, I would think the dawn of a new Ice Age is at play here. The north and south poles may be in the process of shifting. That would account for the odd temperatures in April. Love, Carolyn PS I sent a soup mail
