Spring Rings Out
The warmth of spring will soon ring out
of life brought forth anew.
Each barren tree and hill now dark
as pewter, green and true.
From warmer climes the migrant birds
fly north and seek to nest.
They mate co-joined in nature's maze
and parent to their best.
The myriad of earthly life
produce offspring in time.
Those witnessing this grand display
see life rich and sublime.
Warm rains enrich the soil and fill
each river, lake, and pond.
The waters fuse with elements
as brave, new life is spawned.
Spring winds from gust to zephyr flow
across this sphere's broad face.
The earth and sky sing out of growth
and shine with verdant grace.
As souls we often opine of
the seasons which is best.
When our sun climbs high in its arc
all life on earth is blessed.
