Spring Perfume

Earth's backdrop now is painted green, but not of single hue; the artist washed the winter scene, removed the icy blue, making the canvas new. The love that fills the painting is quite evident to me for the detail it's containing. bird, butterfly, and bee, ask them; they are likely to agree. Crystal dewdrops sparkle on the grass; I survey the flowers' bloom. a day I do not want to pass inside in darkened room: give me this spring perfume. Copyright, April 29, 2014 Faye Gibson

Love the move from blue to green, winter to spring - nice contrast. Like you, I cannot stand to be indoors; I must check daily on the blooms which delight my spring with smell and sight. Congratulations, Faye on a winning piece.

This is very well done, what an interesting way to express visions of spring that can brighten a life any time of the year, kind of a perpetual hope.
