Spring Is Here
Nature is blushing with jeweled-crowned flowers,
booming buds from the wounds of Earth.
It is sweet, this yearly birth,
that spreads colors and contagious mirth
like the wings of a flying bird
graciously soaring sky high in the blue.
Spring is here as cold is over there,
drifting fragile flakes that bites the air
with frost in another world.
It is time to walk along the replenished grounds
of our home
and soak the sun that stumbles down.
