Spring In the City
As winter dances it's final dance
white snow begins to melt
The fire of spring begins to blaze
Trees - long dormant
Now have little buds on their branches
From the cold earth plants begin to rise
break through the frigid soil
Squirrels scurry into city parks
The population of the city grows hopeful
Spring brings joy with it
Mother Nature will have is say - here in the asphalt homeland
