Spring Heat
The day once more begun
With the burning of the sun
Rising over shadows of night
As I watch each bird take flight
The heat bellows a blaze
And the light leaves such a gaze
Of the land and all the trees
With a saviour of a breeze
Out here the spring is hot
Temperatures rise a lot
The heat puts hold to you
And all you want to do
At night the air does cool
We sleep just like a fool
Tomorrow we see my friend
The rise of heat again
