Spring Flowers
The colored flowers of Spring arc upward
Moving slowly in the grace of splayed light
Their scent gathers us in without regard
Gives life its fragrance of Earthly delight
Dewdrops get caught upon petals, to fall
Dripping slowly to the soft grass below
Tongue of butterflies stay on honey's call
As the Spring silently begins to show
Motion so graceful, without any pause
To grateful eyes bring a song of romance
And seems elegant in its quiet cause
These seraphims from heaven slowly dance
Blooming colors of flowers to amaze,
The flowers of Spring are lavished with praise
