This poem was enchanting and lovely. Congratulations on your wonderful win! Thank you also for commenting on some of my work. I try to comment as often as I can. I care for my 2 year old granddaughter full time while her parents work.

Congrats on your win. Thanks for your wonderful comments. Coming from a fellow PIO, it means a great deal. I am, very new to poems. Was very enthusiastic initially, but when some of my poems reg the 'girl child' (couple of them), was not commented upon. I began to wonder?? Whereare the fairer sex for whom I spoke!! Keep in touch, Keep writing.n Thank you.

Hi Upma. It is an honor to meet you. Your poem is lovely. It reminds me of spring when I was in college at Georgia Tech. That feeling of renewal. I think your line: "Enthusiasm short lived but contagious" expresses so beautifully that special sexual sensation one feels in spring in youth. I cherish the vision you have given me. Peace....Sam
