Spring Ditty
Oh, this lovely warming trend,
mild temperatures wind does send,
flowers bud and birds awaken,
snows are past, to be forsaken,
sweaters are shed, and mittens too,
sky is now a beautiful blue,
but most of all, I think you’ll guess,
I like that now---people wear less.
