the chickadee tweets I eat my breakfast without an egg wings flutter upon melting icicles first glimpse of Spring Grandma's garden a missing rose lay on her stone Incense wafts amongst the silent crowd a sneeze out loud longing another Spring blooms without you Happy Easter to you and yours with love -Charma

You're the one of the best haiku poets on the site, Charmaine. You always capture wonderful moments, sticking to simple language (which I personally think is key!), with "a-has" at the end. Some of these very funny, others sad, and others can kinda be taken both ways ... a sneeze out loud. It made me think of those Asian funerals that burn incense to honor the dead, and then someone sneezing on accident ... very awkward!

Lol : )... It was a mauning Thursday when it happened. ..so another kind of ceremony...Am laughing cuz I have a phobia towards seeing bodies of dead people. .Now am imagining me there at that funeral sneezin out loud : )

Happy Easter Charma...the first...I love the chickadee without eggs : ) ...the second...I can picture the hummingbird and the ice melt dripping...the third...is very heartfelt especially around the holidays... Be Blessed young lady.
