Spring

In winters fast demise Of bleakness and forbearing Of darks and grays and freezes Short day’s long nights and sleeping Come alive such beautiful things As the rain ebbs the flow slowly Storms become brief and fitful Days grow longer quickly Then the weather is so peaceful Come alive such beautiful things Flowers will bloom insanely Display such vibrant colors Growing and then more growing Leaves sprout leaves and more Come alive such beautiful things With a breeze that stirs up pollen The plants in their great beauty The green so green of living Vibrates and grows some more Come alive such beautiful things In God’s great big cycle Fluoresce in flocculation Fill in in abundance Unbound ethereal excellence Come alive such beautiful things In a time of watching With the gift of seeing I notice these unbelievable flings Abundant all around me I live and see these beautiful things
