Spring

A chill creeps quickly along my body as the wind whips along its way...But ...it...is...a light breeze...barely noticeable by most.. Sounds of birds chirping is everywhere... The smell of fresh cut grass is consumed in ones senses... Sights of beauty take shape in the form of children at play...people walking, talking. Spring is finally here... It takes away the harsh winter blues... And brings sweet happiness... Spring...is...here!

Meg - I like the way you start off with the chill of the wind, then move to happier aspects of spring. I continued to feel that chill throughout the rest of the poem, and that made me feel the other aspects of spring all the more! A 7 for you girl!
