SPONTANEITY

SPONTANEITY One day, the idea came to me, just like that And my own, not inspired by some deity A bit like pulling a rabbit from a hat So could it now be time for some gaiety And wave goodbye to ever making a plan Maybe time to welcome spontaneity Ignoring any rhyme that will never scan I must admit, that is very new for me Doing it my way, raising a rebel clan My rules-based brain will not work that way you see The here and now, is a transient moment And it feels just like some sort of fantasy I would never wish to cause any ruction As I am here, still waiting for instruction

Fantastic write for the contest; you've written the form perfectly. As I've aged, I don't welcome spontaneity as I once did...sometimes just like my habits :-) Best wishes with the contest, Sara
