Spirits Guide Me
I’m asking you to help me please, tell me what you have,
Enter my body and guide my pen, here upon this pad.
Your truths for the future, tidings yet to come,
Advise me with your wisdom, tell me what will be done.
If future tidings are to be bad, please warn me so I may find peace,
And should it be possible to avoid such strife, allow me a chance to make it cease.
To delay what is to be ‘till a more capable time,
Or delay it indefinitely, so happiness may shine.
For all that you do for us, your words of such truth,
We who dare to listen and learn, we really do thank you.
