Speck

1/20/16 Having more than a heart of gold No matter what even in the dark and cold Always staying sharp and bold By the trees and seas I'm (My mind) at ease While I breathe Not afraid to try and fail Regardless of what this life entails Still continuing on all kinds of trails As I step with one foot in front of the next During the trek Amid matter and molecules no bigger than a speck Taking time to reflect When perplexed Then I progress Putting forth my very best To the furthest extent So that I may be much more than adept While I still live in the flesh And until my death Beside the pebbles and stones Near and far away from all of the roads Across the globe By: Dalton Ogletree
