Queen Irene As you sleep As you dream of your lost Mom coming home and walking through the door Not long now for to wait for the clicking of the gate As along that path she slowly navigates And you sit by the door full of joy and amour to see your long lost Mom come into view No more sleeping in the sink two in a bed with your dear Mom Though Queen Irene she doth ponder where her dearest Mom did wander How could she leave her all alone her darling Queen Irene Then Mom explains She’ll never leave dear Queen Irene again... Ann...you have a deep sense of the relationship between pet owner and their animal. No doubt about it. I, Pangie, have not seen Queen Irene for over one month. Without her, my life is empty. You describe my celebratory fantasies quite well, indeed. Thank you not only for thinking of us, but actually posting it as a poem. Thank you for sharing so much with me. You are a delightful and positive poetess. I hope to learn much from our relationship. With hugs and delight, Pangie xxoo
