Spare a Thought
Spare a thought this time of year
for them who have no-one to care
no roof overhead and no fare
life on streets hard to bear
Spare a thought to those alone
tucked up indoors no-one calls
between societies cracks falls
and lay there abandoned stone
Spare a though for those at war
fighting for friends and family
no roses for them just a lily
lays on a grave like a mar
Spare a thought, yes spare a thought
