timed with stars a dew drops grace begins to form the pressure low and quiet only the earth can hear its existence i will befriend the moon the brightness to keep my company when this sky tells me im small my significance a streak shooting stars a lifetimes stretch our orbits vary slowly how generations will watch ellipses sets the future in a nutshell a galaxy or an acorn a tree the carefully folded crane the tumbling of stones i read the waves for swimming youre welcome for a long nothing the ceremony before my courtship flirting with sleep and silence these words a thread to surface the deep hushes with lullabies and promises i wont get cold blankets to lay me heavy a bed to last till im old
