Source of Healing

Where my head ends my neck brace begins, it will be apart of me for the next three months, But my source of healing comes from my loving family and friends.

Healing. My muse is not yet energized enough to write. My mind feels empty, and tired for creative work. Can't wait until I can get this cervical brace off in a couple months. If you want to write me my email address is csleeve@comcast.net. Oh yea I'm working on a small poem for my surgeon about a great white egret incorporating it on a black and white drawing I did years ago of a great white egret. Enjoy the wonderful autumn colors and Indian Summer. Warm smiles Always, Connie

oooo ouchies, sounds like a painful necessity. The drudgery but neediness of these times comes over well in this short but apt write. Well done, I'm sorry to hear of your plight I have been through lower fusions... so can imagine where you are at. Hope all is going as well as can be for you... The writing will help while away the hours and concentrate your energies...

I had the surgery Sept. 3rd. Difficult with some complications. 6 levels of my cervical spine fused, C1-C6. A year if not more for all the levels to fuse, but I'm feel a little more like myself. Brace is uncomfortable, but necessary. Just wanted to thank all my poetry friends for their prayers and best wishes. Won't be writing much yet, but will stop in at times to read and comment.on PS poetry contests. Every breath is a rebirth. Breathe in life, and have a wonderful day. Warm Smiles Always

Thank you my friend. It was a difficult surgery some complications. My strength is returning and everyday I breath in precious life that surrounds me. The warm sunshine, squirrels hiding the precious finds for their winter meals, and the birds are singing today. What more can you ask for. Have a wonderful day.

Thank you. Everyday my pain lessens and I'm regaining strength, taking in the beautiful day from my open door wall. Birds are singing, sun is shining, and the squirrels are busy gathering food and hiding their precious finds. What more can I ask for.
